CSN has a new database called Campus Research. This database is replacing Nexis Uni and will be very useful for students in the paralegal program, criminal justice classes or anyone seeking legal information.

With Campus Research you can look up both federal and state cases, statutes, court rules, regulations, administrative decisions, briefs, proposed and enacted legislation, and proposed and adopted regulations. This database also has information on bankruptcy, estate planning, environmental law, immigration, insurance, tax law, retirement, real estate, labor and employment, military law, maritime law and so much more.

Campus Research is part of Westlaw and gives you access to the most comprehensive and widely-used indexing system for caselaw materials to make your legal research easier, more accurate and more relevant. With Campus Research there are new tools that allow you to look up legal materials, as well as current news topics such as Covid-19 and civil rights. You can also look to see what is going on in international court systems.

Campus Research is available through the Browse Databases listing on our CSN Libraries website. If you have questions about Campus Research you can ask any of your librarians for assistance.
