How to Get Help from a Librarian

Campus might be closed for now, but our librarians are more committed than ever to help students with assignments, research, and citation. We have multiple ways you can get in touch with a librarian quickly and easily to talk about your assignment!

While we always promote our online chat service, email, and other contact information, we're rolling out a brand new service where you can book a one-on-one virtual call with a librarian to get the help you need at a time that works for you!

Simply click on the link under "Schedule" on our Ask a Librarian page, and choose a time from one of our virtual "rooms" in Microsoft Teams. You'll be asked to fill out a short form with your name, class, and topic/assignment information if you have it. Don't have a topic yet? Don't worry! Our librarians can help you choose a topic, find or evaluate sources, and cite your sources in MLA or APA style. Appointments last up to 30 minutes, and are available Monday-Thursday: 8am-7pm, Friday: 8am-4pm. You will receive a confirmation email and an email from your librarian with the Microsoft Teams meeting link. It's free to use, no additional software required!

If you have any questions, contact us in any way you like!
