Welcome Back, Coyotes!

CSN Libraries is so excited to welcome you back for the Fall semester! Whether you were relaxing at home, vacationing, or tackling summer school, we hope you enjoyed your summer. Our staff is ready to help you succeed in your classes! While you were away, we were busy updating our resources and collaborating with your instructors.

Here just a few ways you can utilize the library to have an amazing school year:

  1. Check to see if we have your textbooks on reserve! You can borrow textbooks from our Textbook Reserve Collection for 2 hours at a time in the library. You can search our online catalog, call us, chat with us online, or visit any of our 3 physical locations to see if we have your textbook available to borrow.

  2. Explore our databases! We have thousands of subject-specific movies, scholarly journal articles, eBooks, newspapers, and more available for you online. Check out our A-Z List of databases to see what might help you this semester or reach out to a librarian for more information.

  3. Do your research using the library computers and printers! Each library location has free computers for students to use. Simply sign-on using your student ID number and Canvas password. For every semester that you are enrolled, you are automatically given $10.00 of free printing credit to use as well. Print from the library computers or the computer labs on campus.

  4. Attend library events for a pick-me-up! We post upcoming events right here on our library homepage and on our social media accounts, so keep checking back for more information. Our crowd-favorites are our De-Stress Fest (coloring and snacks) and Love Dog (therapy dogs) events closer to exam time.

  5. Get research assistance from a librarian. Librarians can help you find the best information to complete your assignments, think through your research topics, and cite your sources. Visit a librarian at any library location or by using our online library chatbox. If you're lucky, your teacher may have already planned a library day!
