A Recognition from the Love Dogs
CSN Libraries received a noteworthy recognition from Pet Partners of Las Vegas – Love Dog Adventures. Library staff members Gracie McDonough, Stephanie Villamor, Aubrey Padilla, and Lorraine Rosales attended the special event on behalf of CSN Libraries. Each campus library received a certificate of appreciation in recognition of CSN Libraries’ commitment to supporting the CSN community through animal-assisted therapy.
Since 2013, CSN Libraries has been a proud supporter of Love Dog Adventures by allowing certified therapy animals to come to each campus library every semester to help students relax and decompress from homework, exams, life stressors, etc.
The celebration hosted by Sue Grundfest took place on January 21, 2023 at the Red Rock Resort and Casino. Library staff enjoyed a brunch buffet and mingled with other attendees. Also in attendance were other Love Dog Adventure volunteers and supporters. We couldn’t be more honored about receiving these certificates of appreciation and look forward to continuing to host the Love Dogs at our campus libraries for future semesters to come.
