Due Dates Extended While Campus is Closed

Since our campus libraries are closed until at least Nov. 30 due to COVID, we have extended the due dates on all checked out CSN Libraries items until Dec. 11, 2020. You should have received an email with your new due date and you can always check your account to see the new date listed on your items as well.

If you have InterLibrary Loan items checked out, all items have been extended to at least November 30th. You should have received an email with your new due date and you can always check your InterLibrary Loan account for more details. If you have questions about InterLibrary Loan items, please contact Jessica Caseman at jessica.caseman@csn.edu

Once our campus libraries open again, you’ll be able to return your items. If the libraries remain closed for longer than expected, due dates for library items will continue to be extended and you will receive an email to let you know.

EXCEPTIONS:

OTS loaned equipment: The extension of due dates is only for library-owned items and does not affect the due dates for equipment loaned by OTS (such as laptops). If you have any questions about OTS loaned equipment, contact the help desk.

Library items already billed: If you already received a billing notice (“Bill for Nonreturned Items”), the item listed on the notice has been overdue for at least 90 days and has already been billed to your MyCSN account. When this happens, the item is removed from our system and can no longer be returned to the library. The bill is for the replacement cost of the item and the processing fee. Items billed in MyCSN may be sent to collections if unpaid.

If you have any questions about any of your library items, please contact CSN Libraries.
