Stephanie Villamor Wins Librarian of the Year
On Monday, November 7th, the Nevada Library Association held their 76th annual conference at the Green Valley Library in Henderson. In addition to the many informational sessions and programs (some even presented by CSN librarians), the most exciting thing to happen was when the Henderson campus’ Lead Librarian, Stephanie Villamor, won 2022’s Librarian of the year!
She was nominated by Theri Wyckoff from CSN’s Department of Education for being an exceptional instructor both in-person and online, co-authoring a book called Practical Marketing for the Academic Library, volunteering in the community, and mentoring so many others. CSN Libraries is extremely proud of Stephanie for this amazing accomplishment, and we are grateful to have her as part of our team.
