CSN Libraries is excited to announce a new single user study pod available at the Charleston campus library. This pod was made available through an Institute of Museum and Library Services grant by way of Nevada State Library, Archives & Public Records . This study space can be checked out by a single user for quiet study, test taking, slide deck voice recordings, and other uses that comply with the library’s use policies . Statista is a prolific database that contains over 1 million statistics and covers 80K topics across 170+ industries. Users can search by topic or use Statista’s subject categories to find statistical reports, consumer, and industry reports, as well as global information and data. Infographics are an invaluable tool that display data in easy-to-read charts that are downloadable in multiple formats including PNG images which can be inserted into a Word or Google document. Thanks to a recent update, accessing the JoVE (Journal of Visualized Experiments) database is now much easier for CSN students. In the past, all users were required to create a separate JoVE account. Now, all CSN students have to do is sign in using your CSN student ID and Canvas password! What is JoVE? Love Dogs – April 19th, 25th, and 27th What is something that you’ll be able to look forward to when you return to campus after spring break? The Love Dogs coming to visit the libraries! On Tuesday, April 19 th they will be at the Charleston campus library, Monday, April 25 th they will be at the North Las Vegas campus library, and on Wednesday, April 27 th they will be at the Henderson campus.
