CSN Libraries is always making sure we keep our website up to date by adding new resources to help you with a variety of assignments. If you haven’t looked at our complete database list in a while, you might not have seen the latest online collections added this year just for you!

Mometrix Test Preparation: Do you need a study guide, flashcards, or sample questions to prepare for an upcoming major exam? You’ll find all this and more in Mometrix! Type into the search bar ASVAB, TEAS, or whatever the title is of the exam you need to take. Or browse categories such as Business, Nursing, English, Teaching, and more.

MLA Handbook Plus: Students taking ENG 101 and 102 will be excited to know that the MLA Handbook, used to write papers in the required MLA Style, is now fully online and accessible on our website. The 9th edition is the most recent and provides you with updated information for citing your sources in English classes.

AP Stylebook Online: If you’re studying journalism, or writing for a newspaper or magazine, you might have heard of AP Style. It’s a grammar style and usage guide created by American journalists and used by writers and editors in the field. This online version is optimized for both desktop and mobile devices.

FSTA - Food and Science Technology: Are you in a food and beverage class? Studying nutrition? Maybe you need an academic journal article about probiotics in yogurt. This specialized database would be for you.

MLA International Bibliography with Full Text: If you need to write a research paper on topics related to language, literature, linguistics, rhetoric, writing studies, folklore, film, theater, or other dramatic arts, you definitely need to check out this collection of full-text, academic journals.

Nursing Reference Center: Designed by nurses for nurses—a place for original research and evidence-based information resources.

Project MUSE: Does your professor want scholarly journals for your social science or humanities class? Check out the full-text articles inside! Be sure to use the option “Only Content I Have Access To” when getting into the resources in order to pull up our CSN Libraries subscription.

Have questions about navigating these new databases? Can’t find something you need? Be sure to ask a librarian for help!
