The CSN Henderson Library has fun Valentine’s activities to get you in the mood to turn your pages.

Valentine’s Scavenger Hunt

This activity will run from Monday, February 5th to Friday, February 16th. Do you like candy and free prizes? Join us for our Valentine’s Scavenger Hunt! Grab a scavenger hunt sheet from the front of the library and look up the books listed at library.csn.edu.  Find the books in the stacks, grab a sticker from each book, and place it on the sheet. When you’re finished, return a competed sheet to the front desk for your prize! Not only do you get a free treat, but this activity also allows you to learn how to search for a book in the library catalog and how to locate the book on the shelf.

Blind Date with a Book

Come and check out this display during the month of February. Unsure of what book to read next? Interested in expanding your reading genre? Check out our Blind Date with a Book display and find the next book for you! What is “Blind Date with a Book”? It’s like a regular blind date where you don’t know what you’re getting until you get there, but with books! Our display is located at the front of the library. Each book is wrapped in paper and has a blurb with the genre posted on the front. Read each blurb and see which book sounds the best for you and then check it out!
